10 Day Cultural Tour
Georgia and Armenia

The Caucasus region is a mountain range lying between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, considered part of the natural boundary between Europe and Asia. Four countries, all part of the former Soviet Union, occupy this region: Russia in the war-torn Northern Caucasus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia in the Southern Caucasus. These isolated and ancient lands are one of the world's most ethnically diverse regions, containing more than 60 languages from five distinct language families, giving the region an astounding cultural diversity.
Armenia is an ancient, millenia-old civilization in a remote mountain landscape, proudly claiming to be the first Christian Kingdom. Home to amazing world heritage sites, forgotten monasteries and a wonderfully laid back and friendly culture.
Georgia is the lush green heart of the Caucasus, with fabulous cuisine and culture, diverse landscapes and a wealth of ancient churches, cathedrals, monasteries and cave cities.
This tour is a sampling of these two Caucasus countries, and is an opportunity to explore the two capitals, Tblisi and Yerevan, important monuments, ancient architecture and meet the friendly local people.
